I was just looking at this link that has been added to the Database. Thank You to the person the created all this hard work.
I was looking at the dogs from the late 1800's and early 1900's and thinking isn't it amazing that our dogs today still resemble their fore fathers. Some of the pictures i had seen before and others I was looking at for a first time. Congrats to all breeders over the decades that have maintained and improved the breed without loosing it's original 'type'. The smooth collie of old bares a resemblence to the later generations.
So many breeds look so completely different to those that came before them.
Just an observation of mine
